Why we exist

Every family makes a promise. Very few are given the help to keep it.

Ours was simple: they would stay in their own home. Keeping it nearly took everything we had.

My parents were married for more than seventy years. They sacrificed everything for their children. As they reached the end of their lives, they both wanted the same thing — to remain in the house they had built a life inside.

We used every piece of technology available. Cameras. Smart watches. Medication dispensers. Home automation. And still, we never felt we were doing enough.

The devices produced endless information and almost no understanding. A notification could tell me a door opened. It could not tell me whether my father had eaten, or whether my mother had slept, or whether today was different from yesterday.

So I drove. Several counties, in the middle of the night, again and again — not because something was wrong, but because I could not be certain that nothing was.

Both of my parents passed away peacefully, at home, in the place they loved. We kept our promise. StayHome AI exists so that other families can keep theirs.

Our mission

Helping Families Keep Their Promises.

Our purpose is not to build artificial intelligence. Our purpose is to strengthen human caregiving. We believe the highest use of this technology is not to replace human relationships — it is to protect them.

If this sounds like your family, we'd like to meet you.

We're welcoming a small number of families and care teams into early access. We'd be glad to walk you through it.
