Our philosophy

What we believe, written down so we can be held to it.

These principles came out of our own family's experience. They decide what we build and, more often, what we refuse to build.

  1. 01

    Confidence before information.

A family doesn't need more data. They need to know whether they can rest. Everything we show is measured against that standard.

  2. 02

    Complexity belongs inside the engine.

The hard work of learning a life should never surface as settings, thresholds or dashboards for a worried family to manage.

  3. 03

    Simplicity belongs in the experience.

If a tired sixty-year-old at midnight cannot understand it in five seconds, we have not finished designing it.

  4. 04

    Dignity is not a feature.

The person at home is the reason all of this exists. Their independence and privacy come before our convenience.

  5. 05

We do not teach AI to recognize behaviors.

We teach it to understand lives. A behavior is an event. A life is a pattern, a history and a person.

  6. 06

    Technology should strengthen relationships.

If StayHome AI ever replaces a phone call or a visit, we have failed. It exists to make room for more of them.

See what understanding feels like.

We're welcoming a small number of families and care teams into early access. We'd be glad to walk you through it.
